Born on February 28, 1968, in the modest town of Ilobu, Osun State, Lagbaja’s journey to military excellence began in the corridors of St Charles Grammar School and Local Authority Teachers College in Osogbo. His pursuit of military service led him to the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1987, where he joined as a member of the 39th Regular Course, marking the beginning of an illustrious career that would span over three decades.
