Chief Emmanuel Olatunji Adesoye (OON, CON)

Renowned industrialist and foremost Nigerian Chartered Surveyor, Chief Emmanuel Olatunji Adesoye (OON, CON) was born on 25th April 1938 attended African Bethel School Ebute-Metta Lagos 1948-1951; St Marks school 1952; Offa Grammar School 1953-1957; Yaba Technical College 1958; Nigerian College of Arts, Science, and Technology Enugu 1959; South East College of Arts, Science, and Technology UK 1961 -1963;
He was a Fellow Institute of Quantity Surveyors London 1965; He is the first Northern Nigerian Quantity Surveyor and the second Nigerian Quantity Surveyor; He is a Fellow Royal Institute of Chartered Quantity Surveyors 1968; Fellow Nigerian Institute of Chartered Quantity Surveyors 1985;
He was the Chairman Afribank 1987 – 1989; some of the traditional titles he holds include being the Maye of Offa 1979; Baba Isale of Odo Owa (Kwara State) 1995; He became the Asiwaju of Offa in 2001;
He was the National President of Offa Descendants Union in 1996. He was proprietor Okin Biscuits Industry, proprietor of Okin Foam Industryand Adesoye College Offa.

The industrialist also acquired, from Kwara state government, Kwara Breweries in Ijagbo town near Offa.
The Breweries brewed Noble beer and he repackaged the product to sustain its patronage. Adesoye was the proprietor of the famous Adesoye College, Offa, a college which is one of the pioneer international secondary schools in Nigeria.

The industrialist who was a former national president of Offa Descendant Union (ODU) was the Asiwaju of Offa town.
He was honoured with the chieftaincy title after the demise of Chief Josiah Sunday Olawoyin, a renowned politician of the first and second republics who held the title until his death.
