In honour of Prof. Pius ADESANMI who was born in Nigeria on 27th February, 1972 and sadly died on 10th March, 2019, at the age of 47, in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 from Addis Ababa to Nairobi which crashed shortly after take-off. He was on his way to an African Union conference.
He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Ilorin, and his master’s degree at the University of Ibadan, both in Nigeria. He proceeded to Canada for his PhD in French Studies and graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2002.
