This report provides a situational analysis of participation in public and private schools Association examinations by pupils in private schools. It addresses global issues, looks at four private schools Associations, and makes recommendations for consideration by DEEPEN in formulating its forward strategy of engagement.
The overall objective of this assignment was to provide a situational analysis of the current context and systems for assessing learning outcomes in both public and private schools in Lagos. The assignment required a combination of field research, structured interviews with key stakeholders and desk review of documents. The main findings of the assignment are outlined below
